When college-student Simone Burner (Brandy Allison) is accused of murdering the man who assaulted her, she seeks out the help of attorney Jack Morgan (Erik Estrada – CHIPS) to prove her innocence. A ruthless and corrupt prosecutor engages her in a trial that brings the past she’s longed to escape to the forefront of her defense.
‘Virtuous’, a faith-based film created to inspire women to live out the principles of Proverbs 31 in modern day culture, tackles the tough question, "Can a woman in this culture be both righteous in her lifestyle while being rowdy enough to stand-up and defend her convictions?"
Featuring a female-led cast that includes Angelita Nelson (Courageous), Erin Bethea (Fireproof), Vanessa Ore (My Name is Paul) and American hero, Jessica Lynch, this film takes us on a journey through the battlefields of Iraq, to an American news studio, to a home for troubled girls, and a hometown church, while revealing God’s transformative love and grace.
The Virtuous Story

Virtuous interweaves the stories of several different women involved and impacted in and through the trial of Simone Burner, a young college-aged Christian woman. The individual story of each woman examines the different challenges Christian women face in today’s culture, from Si herself, the lead detectives and police officers, judges, the prosecution and defense lawyers, new reporters, and hospital staff.
